Kickback Campout August 22-24 2008
August 23rd is our 5th Annual Kickback
Campout and we are anticipating our biggest turnout yet. We will be back at the Graham’s old house off Exit 72 on Hamilton Road. Friday night, the 22nd, there will be a members only potluck and work party on site. The pigs will go in the ground as we get things set up for the weekend. Members can set up their camp sites Friday night. Gates open on Saturday at 10 a.m. There will be bike and other games, great food, and the Brian Green Band will be rocking us into the wee hours of the night. Tickets are on sale now for $20.00. To get yours, come to the August 13th meeting or call Terry Butler at 807-0179.
August 5th, and our first Vintage Motorcycle Show & Swap is on the books as a success. Lowrider and his family worked their butts off to make this happen, so when you see them shake their hand and say GOOD JOB!!! Although he had a committee to help him, the committee is only as good as the chairperson. Good job Low, the weather was great, and the amount of people & motorcycles was awesome. It was a great event to help out our scholarship fund. Thank you for your hard work, Ackermans. Sat. Aug. 9th is a litter pick-up day, so hope some of us can be there to clean up our section of highway. Weather permitting maybe we can go on a ride after the clean up. Sun. Aug. 10th there is going to be Kick Back Committee meeting out at Fays ( Grahams ), about 1:00p.m. Need to make a plan about locations of stuff. See ya there, Terry Butler
